The Return Of Chopper City’s B.G.

B.G.
It was circa 1999 when I first heard, “Cash Money is the army, better yet the Navy…” and was heavily intrigued by this new sound that emerged from the southern belt of the United States.
“Baby Gangsta”, also know as B.G., was one of my favorite Hot Boyz and because of him, I purchased my first pair of Reebok Classics. As a matter of fact, the entire city did.
Nevertheless, the legendary underground New Orleans-based MC is back in business with a new album, Too Hood 2 B Hollywood, scheduled for release on November 24 (E1 Ent/Chopper City Records/Atlantic).
With a track record of over 3.3 million albums sold as a solo artist and 2.1 million albums sold as part of the Hot Boyz, B.G.’s first single is “Back to The Money” produced by Oddz n Endz.
The new album includes everybody from Lil Wayne, T.I., Juvenile, Trey Songz, Yo Gotti, Young Jeezy and Lil Boosie to production ranging from Justice League to Cool and Dre and an exciting feature from Mannie Fresh.
In a recent press release, B.G. said: “Sometimes I am denied my props but it’s cool. I am coming back and taking everything the game owes me. It doesn’t owe me anything but respect. I’m still the hottest of the hot. At the end of the day, I just want the respect I truly deserve.”
Be on the lookout for the guy who introduced the now global concept of “bling bling” (along side Lil Wayne) to make a solid return soon.

Damn I miss the old CashMoney. Them was the days. I might have to check this album out since I ain’t really messed with BG since he left CashMoney.
