Solange Knowles x Honey Mag: Solo In The City

Submitted by on October 5, 2009 – 11:02 pmOne Comment

Since Solange Knowles waved goodbye to her long, flowing manufactured tresses a couple months back, folks have been weighing in on whether or not the decision was something they agree with.

Apparently Solange could care less what they think and she’s made that very clear. If you ask us, Beyoncé‘s lil sis is just as beautiful now as she was before. Honey Mag got candid with Solo as camerawoman Angela Boatwright snapped away.

“All through high school I got made fun of because of what I wore and what music I listened to, so this is just junior high for me all over again,” says Solange. “I don’t care, and I don’t think I ever will because at the end of the day, these are not the people who are going to be there to change a flat tire or who help you in ways that you really need it.”
