Hitch or Ditch: The Nike Air Magma

As part of their upcoming Holiday 2009 season, The Nike Sportswear wing of the company is releasing the Air Magma.

New Nike Air Magma

Although I’ve become dedicated somehow to the Nike brand, I can’t say that I’m very impressed with this release.

They remind me completely of the a cross between the Nike Blazers and Dunks, the only difference being the Nike symbol on the side. I would love to see more images especially the tread. If it’s on the Nike Sportswear it might actually be run or hike worthy.

Nike has definitely been busy though, one of their newest campaigns began in Asia and is heavily promoting the Nike Free sneaker which oddly enough looks exactly like the Air Total Max Uptempo Le we have on here, except it’s a lowtop.
The creative minds behind the animated campaign said:

STEADY developed the global digital campaign for the 2009 Nike Free sneaker. We created a full interactive product experience including concept, art direction and development—the highlight being a motion graphic piece, art directed and executed in 3D. The HD-quality video features the Nike Free 5.0 in an anime environment. While primarily designed for the AsiaPac region, the site is now being featured globally.
