VIDEO: Ma$e Is Finally Free From Diddy!

Submitted by on October 19, 2009 – 11:58 amOne Comment

Ma$e pulled his own power play getting Diddy to release him from his Bad Boy contract. Now, I know I don’t know everything about how this music industry works, but isn’t slavery over?

Did someone forget to tell Sean Combs that someone shouldn’t have to resort to such methods just to get some peace of mind? I bet you somewhere Mark Curry is shaking his head. Read more after the jump.

Here’s what the Didster had to say to what “gossip folks” thought about this whole Ma$e/Diddy debacle:

“People have felt like with our situation, I may have stopped him. He can do whatever he wanna do…If you want those Mase verses, you can go get your hustle on right now. You know he got a slick tongue though. He’s a mean negotiator so you better come with that guap.”

In the words of the legendary Ed Lover… “C’Mon, son!!”  The game does know about the key players, as us non-spotlight folks tend to study the game and make moves according to our playbook. Some people want to be like Jordan and others are Ron Artest.

When it comes to PTwitty, he’s more Trump than Troop, it seems. Not to throw any negativity on the man, but the reports coming out of his camp now, in the year 2009, aren’t exactly new news, ya dig?

If you’ve seen this, then you know what I’m talking about:

Ma$e must have a heart of gold or an iron will like an Israeli sheik because he next comment is priceless:

“I don’t even know how to take that. I’m not used to Puff doing this stuff.”

Of course you don’t, hell… we don’t either. But with Ma$e’s freedom papers in hand, the next question is who will the Harlem World front-man rap for now? Is he still down with 50 Cent and the G-Unit? Will he go the independent route like Drizzy Drake and rebuild his stock?

All these questions, maybe you got some answers! Speak on it in the comments section below and check out the Ma$e/Diddy situation below:
