Karl Lagerfeld Weighs In On The Weight Issue
Karl Lagerfeld
Karl Lagerfeld has reached that point in his career where he’s acquired grandmother’s tongue–a tendency for the elderly to speak recklessness without consequence because they have age as a defense.
Germany’s most popular woman’s magazine announced that it is banning professional models from its pages in favor of “real women” in an attempt to combat an unhealthy standard of rail-thin beauty that it says has isolated its readers.
When asked to comment, Karl Lagerfeld said this:
“No one wants to see curvy women. You’ve got fat mothers with their bags of chips sitting in front of the television and saying that thin models are ugly.”
Is it reckless, but true?

He’s got a point in the whole ‘glass is half-full’ type of thing, but he’s not styling nobody on “Big Fat Deal” or nothing like that, either…
that’s kinda a lil bit offensive when he said that no one wants to see curvy women. men today are hella tired to see chopstick-thin women. in other words, only an old-ass dog like Mr. Lagerfield wants a damn bone. lol.
