DrJays.com’s Boss Lady, DJ Whoo Kid and Steve Lobel (Manager, Nipsey Hussle) at DJ Whoo Kid’s birthday party in NYC

Love him or hate him, DJ Whoo Kid is arguably the most successful person (outside of 50 Cent) in the G-Unit camp.

Whoo Kid’s ability to transcend the crew (while still reppin’ it) and forge a separate career as a popular personality with radio shows (catch him now on Sirius/XM’s Shade45 channel every Saturday from 10am-5pm), street mixtapes, clothing lines (KRSP and SV Boutique) and successful club gigs around the world is inspiring.

His birthday party (hosted by Coco) was held recently at New York’s hottest club venue, Pink Elephant. The night was jam-packed with celebrity appearances by Lloyd Banks, Tony Yayo, Olivia, Stephon Marbury, Thomas Jones of the NY Jets and more.

Check out the video that captures the vibe of the night under the jump (and peep Boss Lady in the background most of the time, attempting to avoid the craziness!)

Pink Elephant is hardly a hot venue. They treat people awfully. Suss One rocks, and I’d go see him at any other venue in the city anytime. The bday party was good overall, just a terrible venue. People, stop spending your money at places who discriminate!
