Retro Jay’s vs Fusions: What’s The Big Deal?

Someone rockin' the AJF IV in Red/Cement at the 2008 Jordan Classic
Fellow Sneakerheads, as we know, there has been widespread debate between Jordan lovers since the day the first pair of Air Jordan Fusions dropped.
Some people, like myself, were really feeling the fact Mike and Co. were expanding their horizons, trying something new. I’m sure Nike felt like it was a win-win situation as well; I mean, who doesn’t like Jay’s and who doesn’t like Forces?

A GREAT IDEA! Right?
Well, not everyone feels this way. Some hardcore “Jaywalkers” have hit the blog sites about how much they hate the idea of “fusing” the Air Force One with classic Jordan sneakers. While some products haven’t been so hot, there have been, and will be, some great Fusions.

OMG, Those Fusion 13’s are disguistingly ugly. I would rather spend $600 to cop some authentic J’s, then wear those Frankenstein Monsters. I dont even want to see the Fusion 8’s. Please, please dont destroy those classics. The only pair of Fusions i would cop, and theyd have to be everyday sneaks, would be the AJF 4’s. But overall felt sick to my stomach when i first saw Fusions. Need more re-release of Retro J’s!
