Converse Heats Things Up With The Padded Collar
Maybe it’s the West Coast in me, but despite constantly rainy weather and threats of a snowy winter, I still find myself desperately searching for a fresh pair of Chucks.
Converse clearly understands the feeling as this latest version of the classic Chuck Taylor has been revamped for a high-end winter look.
Breathing new life into its best-seller, Converse has taken the basic All-Star mold and added a few key qualities to spice it up a little. In addition to the obvious padded collar seen before in previous years’ models, the shoes also feature high quality materials and a more aggressive out sole better suited for the elements. Leather toecaps and metal eyelets subtly round out this more sophisticated sneaker from the ever-changing brand. Expect the shoes to hit retailers on Sunday November 15th.
