Jennifer Lopez Introduces “Fresh Out The Oven”
The Yankees aren’t the only Bronx bombers who finished their weekend with a bang. Bronx bombshell Jennifer Lopez was spotted back on the block in Miami this past weekend, partying at the ultra exclusive Liv nightclub at the Fontainebleau Hotel.
She was accompanied by hubby Marc Anthony and manager Benny Medina, in addition to her “biggest fan” Kim Kardashian, in town supporting on-again boyfriend Reggie Bush as his team played against the Miami Dolphins this past weekend.
Lopez or “Lola” (J.Lo’s version of Beyoncé‘s Sasha Fierce) was releasing her new video for her comeback single “Fresh Out of The Oven”, which features Mr. 305 himself, Pitbull.
The song hasn’t been receiving a warm welcome at all; music reviewers from NBC Chicago even dubbed it as “half baked”, calling the lyrics “cheesy”.
Lopez has a new album, Love, expected to be released early 2010, however this single will not be on it. The album will be her seventh studio album, although her last majorly successful album was her third, This is Me….Then, released in 2002 and featuring songs like “All I Have” with LL Cool J, “I’m Glad”, and of course “Jenny From the Block” with Jadakiss and Styles P on the remix.
Her last album in English, Brave, was by far a blunder. The album’s biggest single, “Do It Well” didn’t do well in the United States at all; it actually did better in the United Kingdom, charting at number 11 and at number 31 in the US.
Regardless of what her naysayers say, J. Lo seemed to be having a great time shaking her bon bon. Besides, how many people can say they have a song that’s even getting charted, anyway?
Personally, I’m looking forward to see how motherhood has changed J.Lo as an artist; she’s always had hot remixes…can we get Jay Z on a track?!
P.S.- Don’t you just la-la-la-love her dress?! She looks gorge!
