Upscale Magazine, BET Networks, and Hennessy Black joined forces for a red carpet celebration honoring much-loved R&B singer Monica for gracing the Holiday issue of Upscale and the preview for her new reality series, Still Standing, down in Atlanta last night.
Still Standing captures Monica’s return to the music scene and her life as a singer, celebrity and mother of two sons, Rodney and Romelo.
The Still Standing preview brought out Bryan Michael Cox, Mychael Knight, Kaira Akita, Jagged Edge and many more of Atlanta’s music community that have been with Monica since her beginnings.
Still Standing premieres on BET tomorrow Tuesday, October, 27 at 10/9c.
I see my nig Rocko….
I’ve always loved Monica and she has been in the industry for so many years and that’s a blessing. She is very talented and a singer’s singer because her voice is the truth. I think she feels like showing people another side to her and mostly who she is just as a person which is very great. The show should be very interesting to watch and I know that it’s going to be a hit for the BET network. Monica is amazing and I’m looking forward to her new album as well.
