Gucci Mane recently released the single “Spotlight” which features R&B sensation Usher. The music video for “Spotlight” has already been shot, with cameos from Young Money’s Nicki Minaj and comedian/actor Eddie Murphy’s daughter Bria Murphy.
2009 has been a very busy year for the Atlanta native. Bridging the gap between the streets and mainstream, Gucci Mane elevated his profile by appearing on four Top 20 singles this summer including Mario’s “Break Up,” Trey Songz’ “LOL” feat. Soulja Boy, and landing the feature on Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed” remix and his own first single “Wasted”.
Gucci Mane has been seemingly everywhere with more than 150 songs on over 40 different mixtapes and albums. The long-awaited album “The State Vs. Radric Davis” will make its way into stores DecemBURRR 8, 2009.
