Gary,IN…… is my city, what makes me proud is that we are small but PEOPLE know about our city, we are 1 of the main cities who actually BEGAN mill jobs,OH …and Mr. Michael Jackson is from here too!!!! and his whole family. But even though the city continues to seenm gloomy for a person who lives their, their is no place like home……1 thing for sure, 2 things for certain(words of my uncle who basically ran this city…RAY JR!!!)…….and i’m going to leave with that….RIP…UNCLE RAY, COUSINS;ENOS,POOH, AND A SPECIAL FRIEND VALENTINO….” SCARY GARY CEMETARY MURDER CAP IT AIN’T NO JOKE, QUICK TO GET YOUR A$$ KILLED MOTHERF%$^&RS GO FOR BROKE….CUZ NIGGA$ CREEP ON THOSE WHO SLEEP OFF IN THAT MURDER CAP!!!gEAH!!!!
I’m from Oakland, CA. What makes me proud of my city, is that there are so many different diverse cultures living among each other, with everyone bringing their own swag to make my city more unique then the other cities in the bay.
No matter what city your from, how diverse it is, or the size of your city you still represent it with pride! I currently reside in the city of Atlanta. The thing about my city that makes me proud is the way that we all come together at the end of the day! For example the floods that just happened. No one was expecting that much damage to happen but it did and I think that made the city of Atlanta come closer together! Another thing about my city that makes me proud is the individuality here! When you come to HOTLANTA you see fashion, dance moves, and spunky personalities that you won’t find anywhere else! These are the main reasons why I love Atlanta and I am so proud to say this is the city I love!
The city I reside in has plenty of diversity a lot of courteousy and should be well known for the generousity!!…I reside in Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. It is an Army base and I like it because here you are amongst the many men and women who give their lives for their country no matter what race or nationality…They are taken away from their families not knowing if they will ever make it back!!..So even though this place is small in number, it’s BIG and GREAT in random hearts…!!!
I live in Philadelphia, PA and I love it here. Philadelphia is a diverse city, not to mention our great sports teams. The phillies won the world series last year and came close this year. Philadelphia is known for the arts whether it be music, dance, or fine art. I’m proud of my city because it is full of great, talented people trying to accomplish their goals. Philadelphia is also the city of brotherly love, if you are walkng down the street and need something, like directions and you go up to someone and ask they will do their best to help you. Overall I love my city, I’m from Philly!
CHICAGO, IL !!! WHY NOT, THE HOME OF THE BULLS WHICH MICHEAL JORDAN GLAMORIZED FOR YEARS WINNING THE NBA CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES,ALSO THE FIRST AQUARIUM AND SKYSCRAPER WAS BUILT IN THE WINDY CITY. ILLINOIS WAS THE FIRST STATE TO RATIFY THE 13TH AMENDMENT, GETTING RID OF SLAVERY IN 1865. WE HAVE BEEN NAMED THE WINDY CITY BECAUSE WE HAVE THE MOST WIDE VARIETY OF WEATHER, IT CAN BE COLD ONE DAY OR HOT THE NEXT BUT IT ALL REMAINS THE SAME. I LOVE MY CITY NO MATTER WHAT. CHICAGO ALSO HAS THE WORLDS LARGEST PUBLIC LIBRARY AND A POST OFFICE THAT IS SO UNIQUE TO ANY OTHER PLACE, WHY?, YOU CAN DRIVE YOUR CAR THROUGH THERE! WE ALSO WENT THROUGH A MAJOR DISASTER YEARS AGO AS NEW YORK DID (THE CHICAGO FIRE) EVEN THOUGH WE BOTH HAD THESE UNFORTUNATE EVENTS IN OUR LOVELY CITY IT ALSO REPRESENTS HOW STRONG WE ARE CAUSE WE ALL CAME TOGETHER TO HELP REBUILD OUR CITY AND COME TOGETHER AS A UNITY WITH OUR VERY DIVERSE COMMUNITIES. WE ALSO HAVE THE LARGEST FREE OUTDOOR FOOD FESTIVAL EVERY YEAR WHERE DIVERSE PEOPLE COME TO TASTE DIFFERENT FOODS AND HOW IRONIC, IT’S CALLED “THE TASTE”. WE ALSO CREATED THE WORLD’S FIRST BLOOD BANK. WE ALSO HAVE LINCOLN PARK ZOO WHICH IS ONE OF THE WORLDS LAST FREE ZOOS. THESE ALL ALL THE REASON WHY I LOVE CHICAGO NOT TO MENTION MOST OF MY FAMILY IS HERE!!!!
I am from a little town that everyone no everyone and what so good about my town is that u don’t have to wake up every day to killings and that is a blessing Everyone thinks the world is all butterflies and flowers when they are young. But the truth is the world is a lot harder, than we could ever imagine once we get older.People suffering, tears being shed, and crime all over the world is being unleashed on us.Do not be overcome by evil but overcome evil with good God bless Peace
Nashville is where I’m from,
you already know it’s alot of fun!
Cowboy boots is what we rock,
square dancing all the way to the top.
Surrounded by so many positive things,
every woman here is a queen,
but what would we be without our kings?
I love my city where the grass is green,
history do you know what that means?
Get a book look up Tennessee,
all that’s happened here,
who wouldnt wanna see!
Family is so close to me, friends that mean
so much to me, strangers saying hey to me,
you’ve got to love being friendly!
lol, so this was my attemt at rapping about my city!
Even though I’m not a rapper being from the ‘ville is
enough of a reason for me to have fun and
succeed at anything I try!
I am from a small town in Central Maine. Left for 7 years to live in Providence, RI. Moved back home to raise my kids… Waterville isn’t huge or well known, but to me it’s home. Irregardless, small towns have issues too, such as drugs, violence and killings. I know this because we have all those things here. However my hometown pride kicks in when we win a football game against our biggest rival, or we have a parade and our school band is representing us, when we have a huge ice storm and lose power for days…and people end up sharing generators, food, and other supplies to help each other out. We may not be able to keep our house and car doors unlocked any more, but we have that witness able to step up and provide a description of whodunnit, and we have that resilient New England spirit that even if things are terrible now we just keep on forging ahead, waiting for them to get better. Because we know one day, things eventually will.
MY Area code is none other than 305, that’s right MIAMI, FL 4 life. Yes, all of the things you’ve heard about MIAMI in the rap videos are true. WE live, sleep, and breathe style, culture, and swag. Tell me a city where you can party till the sun comes up, and still find good grub at 5:00 am. No where else but the bottom (MIA)-
(Come on, we even invented that phrase). I’m proud that’s it’s hotter than hell’s kitchen year round and the traffic jams are hours long. But, the people here are races of many, working towards 1 common goal; to keep MIAMI the safe & beautiful city everyone loves to visit. Our sports game is tight (hey everyone want to be a Dolphins owner now). The beaches are sandy white and the water is crystal blue; a tropical getaway with a view of millionaires row too.
Infinitely the originators, The Runners, WE THE BEST!
Miami, FL
Come visit us sometime.
SALT LAKE CITY..UT–MAKES ME PROUD BECAUSE IT HAS AND WILL ALWAYS BE ONE OF THE GREATEST PLACES TO RAISE A FAMILY REGARDLESS OF RACE,CREED OR COLOR.
