Freja for Twin magazine

With bumper September issues printed and sold, the fashion world returns to their anxious waiting for fashion weeks, sample sales and supermodel covers.

At the top of most lists is the premiere of Twin, a new magazine from Rebecca Smith (former creative director of cult fashion magazine Lula) and Vogue’s Aimee Farrell.

The bi-annual magazine will be printed with hardback covers opening a new chapter in fashion publishing, combining art and fashion via a carefully considered aesthetic and holds a “substance over surface” motto.

Lending their creative talents to the first issue are Carol Ann Duffy, the first female poet laureate who curates a poetry portfolio, photography by Garance Dore (girlfriend of The Sartorialist) and Freja Beha Erichson, who features in one of the magazine’s shoots.
