Their love is solid as a rock.

He’s country music’s tough guy and she’s the angel in his life with an equally supernova-like career. No one is talking about beating, cheating or random acts of skeeting. So, if they can make it work in their line of work, can folks in hip-hop do the same?

While promoting his newest album, Southern Voice, Tim McGraw let his softer side show when he talked about being happy at home with his wife, Faith Hill. “Our life is normal except for when we work,” he said to People Magazine, “and we like it that way.”

Stars nowadays seem to thrive on the spotlight. Khloe and Lamar Odom are reality TV bound, the Octomom has a movie in the works (not really) and Bobby just outed Whitney to the masses — leaving lovers confused on when their relationships are TMZ bound.

It can’t be a black and white thing. It has to be deeper than that. We’ve become sensationalized and desensitized to each other’s feelings. Have we lost our pride as humans in how we interact with each other? The hype that has came from this Chris Brown/Rihanna situation is more than just face time and some albums hitting the street, it’s a real cry for help. The funked up thing about this is what we, the public, take away from all this. Whether you don’t subscribe to gossip and innuendo, it’s hard not to notice that it is hard to build genuine relationships.

“She’s saved my life in a lot of different ways — from myself more than anything. She’s loved me through times when I didn’t love me,” McGraw says about his wife to People Magazine. Can other celebrities say they really doing the same?

What do you think? Have we forgotten about love? Can we even pull inspiration on good relationships from our celeb? Speak on it!
