First quarter 2010 is going to be dope. Folks are going to finally be treated to the finale of the God of War series. The third installment of this legendary Greek tragedy wraps up and will hit stores next March, but PS3 is ready to get those late passes to folks with a collection for the ages.

This is a great series. If you’re unfamiliar with the story, you can get familiar by clicking here. Kratos finally gets his shot at redemption in this third installment, but while I don’t want to spoil it with you. You can check out how the PS3 revitalized the shores of Athens in the video below.

Gone are the pixelation and small hiccups that plagued this hack & slash title when it first dropped on the PS2. The textures are lush and poppy with smooth facial wrapping to where you can see all the full range motion with not only the enemies, but Kratos, as well. His full swing is defined, but only limited to the coding for that series game.

If you want to get the next level action, then you’ll have to wait till March for when Kratos goes for the curtain call in God of War III.
