When we last saw Eminem on the big screen it was as “Rabbit, in the classic hip-hop film 8 Mile.

He played the role of himself – a talented freestyle emcee from the close outskirts of Detroit, MI,  spitting passionately on the microphone. Look forward to seeing him again – but this time, as the star (and producer) of  a 3-D horror movie entitled Shady Talez.

The multi-platinum lyricist best known for his witty word-play and his colorful imagery will be releasing the three-part horror film described by BBC News as, “a cross between Creep Show and vintage TV program The Twilight Zone”  sometime soon.

The movie will not only be distributed in 3-D, but will also be “turned into” a “limited run comic book series due out in 2010 under the Marvel Icons imprint,” according to Woooha.com. Four issues of the comic book are set to be released.

The film is being placed together by DJ Classicz, a sector of Davis Ent. – the US company behind the Aliens vs Predator and Garfield movies. According to BBC News, the film is also suppose to “… feature three stories offering a hip-hop spin to classic horror films.”

Not sure about you, but around these parts, we’re excited. Here’s a cool clip found on YouTube. We’re not sure if this is has anything to do with the upcoming project – but here’s one of the original ideas from the same team of visionaries. Check it out:
