John Mayer Needs A Hobby!
He really needs something to do... Suggestions, anyone?
One of my favorite singer/songwriters stepped into controversy’s loving embrace…again…this time jumping into Britney Spears business.
On Saturday, Twitter was blessed with another musing from the guitar playing musician and I had to scratch my head and wonder if son has anything else better to do with his time. Find out what it is after the jump.While Britney was angering folks on her “Circus” tour in Australia, who knows what John Mayer was doing for his day. Early on media blasted the pop music diva for lip-synching on her tour. It seems, according to People.com, that Mayer was also in the Down Under to promote his own album and tweeted the following:
“If you’re shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you.”
LOL smiley-face to that, eh? Now, personally, I found it funny. I mean, who DOESN’T know that Britney is going to take your money and give you a pseudo live performance? That’s the reason why she added the “circus” element into her routine. To pull a Jedi Mind Trick on your wallet.
The blond bombshell reportedly left 100 fans angry at the Burswood Dome in Perth, Australia as they were disappointed by “lackluster performance and lip-syncing” during a two-hour show. Now, when you don’t mention the city by name and give a half-assed greeting to the folks Down Under, you can imagine some hate flowing your way.
I just think it’s funny that Mayer sticks his nose into other folks business. After his addiction to Twitter was the rumored reason behind his break-up with ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston, you’d think that the avid timepiece collector would know what time it is and join Plurk.
But I guess that’s almost too much like doing the right thing. While his new album, Battle Studies, is out on November 17th, we’re all sure to be hearing more from the celeb as he continues to “twit” his Hollywood experiences for the masses to enjoy.
I say he should go back to collecting shoes.
