Awww, I Think Gucci Mane Is Growing Up…

I'm waiting for the first rapper in jail reality TV show.
In a statement to XXLMag.com, Gucci Mane has finally released his thoughts about his recent sentencing to a year in Fulton County Jail on November 12th, after he “Wasted” his parole.
“I have accepted full responsibility for my actions and I am ready to deal with what is in front of me right now,” explains the rapper to the hip-hop magazine. “Thankfully, my label is still moving forward with my album release so I will have plenty to look forward to when I get out. I am remaining positive and want my fans to know that I am grateful for their loyalty and continued support. I will get through this.”
The rapper, born Radric Davis, seems to have expressed remorse for his conduct and while he wasn’t sentenced the two year prison sentence that he was originally facing, Gucci joins the ranks of Lil Wayne and T.I. as spotlight rappers who have to enjoy their success behind bars.
Gucci Mane’s debut major album, The State vs. Radric Davis, is slated for a December 8th release and features the aforementioned Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, Keri Hilson, Usher and others.
What do you think? Has Gucci Mane grown up and taken some responsibility for his actions, or is he just waiting for the spotlight to return? Speak on it in the comments section!
