Robin Thicke and Rick Ross on set

Winter season is fast approaching in NYC, but not on to the set of Rick Ross’s video with his single “Lay Back”, featuring Robin Thicke.

I worked on this video which was shot by Gil Green, who’s known to transfer music into stylistic images.

Taken place at the Vice Roy in Miami, FL, the video concentrated on the sick scenery which is Miami, and the “lay back” luxurious lifestyle that only real Bosses get to enjoy!

My partner, the ever so talented Groovey Lew, brought me on this project to work with R&B sensation Robin Thicke.

The concept is predicted by the director, but it’s left up to stylist to bring it to life.

My inspiration needed to be strongly present; I used Gucci’s cruise collection 2010 and David Bowie’s Heathen album mixed with James BondsOctopussy movie.

Long hours and several outfit changes later produced the hit to this lavish video, which you can check out below.
