If Folks “Hate” Chris Brown, Will They Buy R. Kelly’s New Album?

What's worst- a beatdown or pissin' on someone?
Maybe it’s not about an artist’s transgressions, but how they make a comeback once those issues have faded away from the collected memory of the people and the fans?
I don’t see how you can forget about a piss stain, but R. Kelly has a new album coming out and much like that Boondocks episode – it seems we’re dancing to the beat of his drum already. But is it alluring enough of a rhythm for you to boogie-woogie-oogie to iTunes or the store to buy? Let’s pontificate after the jump.
The Grammy-winning recording artist is set to release his tenth studio album, Untitled, on Jive Records on December 1. The recent news of a release date caps off the lasting impressions the Chicago native is making with his sold-out “Ladies Make Some Noise!” tour.
His single, “Number One,” featuring Keri Hilson is Kelly’s 35th Top 10 hit on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart on Billboard and on the Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop list, “One” becomes Kelly’s record-breaking 27th Top 10 hit.
So why is Chris Brown getting so much heat? Do we denounce abusers in favor of underage child pissers? Folks were so outraged by what R. Kelly did that they protested his music and ousted the singer/songwriter from the urban landscape, but now he’s been welcomed back by us all. My personal opinion aside, I must ask, is this what you want? Will you go out and purchase R. Kelly’s new album?
His album is getting positive feedback from the reviewers and critics. Below is a tracklisting for Untitled as follows:

Think about this for a while…If we knew every single personal thing that someone has done then we would constantly make judgments about their personal life, what we need to focus on is their talent, what they bring to the table…How many executives that run business are cheating on their spouses but are still respected as building and running empires?
R. Kelly is a musical genius, his music speaks for itself…Remember when Kobe did that thing in Colorado? Yeah sometimes we forget but the reason being is that his skill is basketball and we can’t deny that he’s one of the greatest…
That’s all I got…haha…I guess it would be different if he pissed on Aaliyah u know? Who knows?
The hood would’ve strung that dude up if he tinkled on Aaliyah, real talk…
How do I put this. There’s a lot of people that are stupid and just look for a quick and easy hate subject. They don’t even want to know the whole story. Just something that they can feel they contributed to a cause. Even though it’s not a real cause. If a real cause came up these same people wouldn’t change their daily routine.
What gets me is the same people judging aren’t exactly saints either. Yet when you pull their card, they try to rationalize and make excuses.
well i would say that r.kelly is not global like cb is so what he does is not put on blast as much as cb stuff is therefore people tend to forget about whatever he did because its not in there thoughts
who ever said r kelly not global kiss the t.i.p of my diiiiiiiiii
