For the past 4 years Yahoo! Music and Pepsi have brought us Mic Pass, a freestyle video series including artists from all over such as Jadakiss, Scarface, Jim Jones, Charles Hamilton, etc.

Themed for All Star Weekend or The Dub Car Show, Mic pass has always done a good job of combining artists with big names along with up and coming artists to give them a look on Yahoo! Music, one of the most highly trafficked sites on the web.

This time around Yahoo! & Pepsi approached this Mic Pass with an “Empire State of Mind” featuring artists from all 5 boroughs to show it’s appreciation to the birth place of Hip-Hop. Featuring 88 Keys reppin for Harlem, Vic Damone from Queens, Loaded Lux and more. From the looks of things Mic Pass is going to start doing regional and city based segments so be on the look out for that Pepsi Mic in a city near you.
