Jay Smooth is a well known deejay and better known to me as a Hip Hop video blogger.
Sometimes he’ll feature commentary on hip hop and politics through his video blogs. He has done great work in the past and what’s great is that he gets everyone to actually stop and listen to his rants criticism of current events.
This time he chose to chime in on the popular “beef” triangle of 50 Cent, Jay-Z, and Beanie Sigel
If you have been living under that rock, let me bring you to light…
Beanie made a diss record for Jay-Z for subliminal shots in Jay-Z’s song “Already Home”.
Along with that, he has been featured on different radio shows and even teamed up with 50 Cent to make another diss record targeted towards Jay. Then after that dropped, Beanie made two more diss records. Sounds childish right? Well check out what the Doctrine has to say:
Greatness! A Jay-Z/50 Cent beef would be great. It’s clear that they both respect each other. But as Jay said in an interview “Ain’t nobody scared of 50 Cent” Well Jay, prove it!!!
Should Jay-Z respond? Would it be good for hip hop?
First of all, I love Jay Smooth. Second, the fact that he said “still trying to make fetch happen” is fantastic. Love that movie.
