LRG X Augor & Pose: The Artist Driven Collections
I wasn’t as well versed in graffiti until I moved to LA.
I was able to interact with the graffiti culture in Melbourne, Australia, but I never knew how deeply talented graffiti artists were until I saw the art galleries bloated with people and lines around the block waiting to meet renowned artists like Retna and The Mac. I’ve even been lucky enough to see Augor’s work on an almost daily basis every time I head into downtown LA, I’m not too far from what has to be his outside bombing studio.
Augor’s work for LRG
From the brand’s conception in 1999 LRG has strived to be a, “support group for the independent and underground culture.” Through this limited edition t-shirt LRG has put the spotlight on two of the most talented and prolific young graffiti artists in the world; Augor from Los Angeles and Pose from Chicago. The result is two heavy-hitting guest artist tee shirts and a corresponding web video that will kick off a year long series of LRG artist driven products, videos, and freshness.-LRG (where you can see more images from their bombing sessions)
