The New Crookers x Kelis Music Video – No Security
I’ll start this post off by saying, I do indeed love No Security by the Crookers featuring Kelis. I however think this music video, which is the official cut, was executed in the most random way. If you don’t get what I mean, you will after you watch this video.
What in the hipster electronica hell? Honestly, any and every music video can be improved with a splash of Kelis. She’s dynamic, beautiful and just awesome to watch.
Although it’s rumored that she’s notoriously difficult they could have had her as some angel above looking out, or whispering to the deer to keep it moving. I don’t know what to make of it, although I do recognize that they probably saved thousands of dollars in production cost with this simple video. What do you think?

Ok that was the most boring thing I have ever watched. I fast-forwarded through it after the first minute just to see if there was anything I might miss. No kelis does not make everything better, on the contrary. She is beautiful, original, unique bla bla bla, but her a$$ can not, I repeat CAN NOT sing. This song should have been done by Santogold and it would have been better, not to say she can sing, but its more her style and it would have sounded better.Kelis is movin in the direction Santo has already arrived at.
Santi takes some time to grow accustomed to, sometimes she reminds me of a black bjork with her yodeling and such lol.
But Kelis has her MOMENTS I’m not looking for her to sound like mariah b/c she gets on my nerves lol, but i do enjoy her quirky voice. She’s a good package
You know I wish instead of singin, Kelis would put the mic down and do some serious fashion design. I love her style, she is always ahead of the game when it comes to fits, but I agree, can’t sing.
We need more hot clothes for us ladies though, cause I’m tired of Dereon and looks like its bout to be over for AB.
Either her or Keri Hilson now that I think about it. Oh and the vid was garbage. I can’t even believe they’re for real wit that.
