Snoop Dogg’s All Over Your Navigation System
Snoop Dogg has been chosen as the first celebrity to record audio directions for your car’s GPS.
The smooth vocal tones of the West Coast rap legend are being used by TomTom’s GPS Voice Skins, for the reasonable price of $12.95.
On the driving instructions, Snoop can be heard advising motorists, “Keep left ahead, and you’ll be bona fide” and “Turn around when possible and keep it ‘G’, ya d-i-g?” and “Thanks for the ride man, I had the time of my life – ooo wee!”
Funnily enough, the New York-based DrJays.com team were recently discussing how an idea like this is incredibly lucrative – we’re waiting in anticipation for “Wu-Tang’s Guide To New York City” in particular (how funny would THAT be?).
