Mullage are a vocal duo entering the music game with lofty aspirations, dubbing themselves the “sound of the new South.”

Described as a “combination of Outkast meets The-Dream” by L.A. Reid, the Atlanta-born duo – B Boi and B Town –recently released their pre-album, Elevators, which features collaborations from T.I., Akon, Wyclef Jean and Juvenile.

The former US Navy members, who’ve built a steady buzz with their debut single “Trick’n”, are just as enthusiastic about their fashion choices as the music they make.

B Boi and B Town scoured DrJays.com for their favorite first picks of the year – check out their choices and see if you agree!

B Boi’s Picks:

“I chose the Melton Hooded Bomber and the Basic R Jeans, both by Rocawear. I chose these two items because I own them myself and it really works. You can always elevate your style with a designer thermal, nothing too fancy with a nice cut tank top “wife beater”. That will look will definitely win with the ladies. You can also add a designer toboggan to separate yourself from the normal. I would suggest some Roc Genius boots to match the outfit but…that’s just me!”

B Town’s Picks:

“I would go with the Hammer Plaid Button-Down by CAVI with a red t-shirt underneath to bring out the red pin stripe! This will add more depth to your outfit. For another look I would try the Boardwalk Cardigan Sweater by CAVI. You really can’t lose with a cardigan sweater!”

What’s the group’s main style tip for the fellas? “A fitted t-shirt, underneath a button down, capped off with a tie – this is a quick look that can be worn on several occasions!”
