Blake Griffin Done For Season
Blake Griffin, the outstanding college player from Oklahoma will not see one minute of the hardwood this 09-10 NBA Season. Before the start of the season he suffered a stress fracture in his left knee. It was supposedly a minor setback to his official NBA debut but it was clear he could see the floor. Today it was decided that Blake would need another surgery because the knee was not recovering properly. A sad day for the L.A. Clippers.
A couple years ago another NBA player by the name of Greg Oden had surgery right before his rookie season and did not play his rookie year. Ever since then Greg has been taking the Grant Hill route getting injured left and right. If you did not know Greg is out for this season as well because of an injury to his knee.
It’s a shame that these players who were once killing the college basketball scene can’t seem to stay healthy enough to play a whole season of basketball. I wish both Greg and Blake the best and will be tuned to their comebacks with their respective teams when they are fully recovered. For now, watch what Blake had to offer during a preseason game against the L.A Lakers
