BREAKING NEWS: Alexander McQueen Commits Suicide

The UK Daily Mail just reported that high fashion designer Alexander McQueen was found dead.
The 40 year-old committed suicide just days before the start of London Fashion Week, and weeks before he was due to unveil his new collection at Paris Fashion Week on March 9.
The tragic news comes just a week after his mother passed away, and three years after the woman who first helped discover his talents, Isabella Blow, committed suicide.

Alexander was reportedly so shaken from his good friend’s death, that he dedicated his spring/summer 2008 show at Paris Fashion Week to her.
The designer’s career sky rocketed when he became head designer of Givenchy in 1996, succeeding John Galliano. He then teamed up with Gucci, who bought 51 per cent of his company.

R.I.P Another great has gone.
I was devastated when I heard this. Alexander McQueen was one of my favorite designers, an inspiration, since when I graduate high school I’m going to school for fashion design.
