Best known for her ability to provide real women with everyday apparel, Parson Design School‘s Alumni Tracy Reese will be showing her clothes off this Saturday during BET’s 2010 “Rip The Runway” celebration.

The night of fashion and fun will be recorded this weekend at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City and will fuse the excitement of urban fashion with the pleasure of music. Rapper Nicki Minaj and star Pooch Hall from hit TV Show “The Game” will be the hosts.

In case you didn’t know, Tracy Reese is an African American designer with the ability to bring all different types of women together to embrace the beauty of womanhood. This year on ‘Rip The Runway’, her collection will be sure to take the show to the next level.

BET‘s ‘Rip The Runway’ will also display the likes of Tennille White, Miva, Gavin Douglass, and Protege. Based around the notion of “Music Moving Fashion Forward,“  the 6th annual ‘Rip The Runway’ has brought the world some of the latest in “fashion, chic accessories, electric performances and the sexiest models” since the millenium.

Live music performances will be provided by Ludacris, Janelle Monae, Estelle, Nicki Minaj, Roscoe Dash featuring Soulja Boy and Atlanta emcee B.o.B. We are almost sure this will be one of the best shows in urban fashion this year.

Congrats Tracy.
