Jay-Z Brings The “RocPopShop” On Tour
Jay-Z‘s “Blueprint 3 Tour” hit his hometown of New York City tonight and as with every stop, the “RocPopShop” followed him.
The truck is parked by Madison Square Garden, where Jay performed with Trey Songz and Jeezy and special guests Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj and more, and is set up as a mobile preview shop for Rocawear‘s Spring/Summer 2010 collections.
Upon entering the PopShop earlier today we saw employees setting up displays of merchandise, which included fresh new windbreakers, cargo pants and boots for men, as well as rock chic dresses and bold grapic tees for women.
The shop is housed in a 53-foot trailer that expands into a 1,000 square feet space and features a sleek, lounge environment complete with leather chairs and flat screen TV’s displaying Jay’s concert footage.
During this BP3 tour the shop has been set up with concert tickets, DJ Hero giveaways and more (you can actually show off your DJ’ing skills while you’re shopping).
A lot of the new Rocawear goods have a military feel, in moody shades of olive green, gray, tan and black. Intricate details on jackets, denim and more boost the quality factor for spring 2010.
