Should Drake Have Worn Black For Jay-Z?

Last night at Madison Square Garden, Jay-Z and a multitude of guests including Young Jeezy and Trey Songz tore down the house for what most are saying was the best night of the Blueprint 3 tour so far.

A message from Jay was sent out to all participants leading up to the show, with strict instructions that everyone involved was to wear “all black everything”. Even personalities in the audience, such as Shade45 (Sirius/XM) morning show host Angela Yee, were told to follow the code.

Drake, who came out during Lil Wayne‘s surprise performance of “I’m Goin’ In”, had other ideas. While seasoned stage vets like Wayne and Young Jeezy kept the all-black rule going, big arena rookie Drake jumped on stage in his own uniform of white hoodie, white jeans and gray t-shirt. Did he not get the memo?

Questlove even tweeted about it:

What Are Your Thoughts? Was Drake Trying Too Hard To Be “Different”? Or Did He Have A Right To “Disobey” Hov?
