HIGHLIGHTS: The 82nd Annual Academy Awards
Besides the fabulous red carpet looks at both the awards show and the parties surrounding it, like Elton John‘s AIDS Foundation soiree, highlights of the night included the first time a woman won the Best Director category and more.
Of course we’re talking about Kathryn Bigelow, who took home the award for directing the Hurt Locker.
The film also won Best Motion Picture.
Best Supporting actress went to Mo’Nique for Precious, Best Supporting Actor went to Christopher Waltz for Inglourious Basterds, Best Actor in a Leading Role went to Jeff Bridges for Crazy Heart, and Best Actress in a Leading Role went to Sandra Bullock for the Blind Side.
