The iPad From Apple: Are You Getting One?
It’s hard to ignore tomorrow’s launch of the Apple iPad, with even the least techie among us waiting in line for one of the biggest electronic debuts of the year.
There’s no doubt about it—the iPad’s one handsome piece of machinery, and you’ll look all hot and space-age running around town cradling the Jetson-style technology. The iPad will handle your email, Safari surfing and photo collection. Download a book and listen to your favorite songs, since iPad also functions as your iPod.
But the iPad isn’t perfect. It’s not a phone, it can’t run Flash and doesn’t take pictures since it doesn’t have a camera. And while I totally want my own iPad, I haven’t wrapped my head around how this will improve my life. I still have to carry a phone, a camera and my laptop to do the things the iPad can’t, which means I’ll be toting an even bigger handbag.
So much for minimalism.

When I first heard of the I-pad I thought it was essentially a mini tablet in a form of a laptop, but come to find out it’s just an I-pod touch on steroids. I’m disappointed to say the least. If you ask me I think the conventional i-pod touches are way more convenient for their portability. Do you know how much of an asinine fool I would look like if I took this heaping pile of cow manure with me to the gym? Imagine trying to do a bench press with an I-pad dangling from your ear drums, like some sort of anchor chain.
Although this product looks cool, it offers nothing different from the conventional I-touch. I say don’t be caught up in the fabricated hype and wait for apple to come out with a better one in like 2 months from now, like they always do.
F**K APPLE. ALL THEIR PRODUCTS ARE GARBAGE.
This confirms that people aren’t the brightest. People are going to wait in line all day, pay over inflated prices for an item that will have issues (generally the first run or first remake of any electronic product will have issues). The product really has no purpose except for maybe bragging rights. In this day & age no one really cares. Thing is you can’t really rock it anywhere it’s the most awkard thing ever lol.
This is what I will be doing tomorrow… Getting ready for a bbq, picking out what gear from dr jays/ dj premium to wear to the bbq and to the club later on.
Tell em rick man. I will wait on this one imma get one maybe around Xmas lol
Waste of my money for my expense on a ipad. Its a beautiful machine scaled up to have a big screen and portable probably apple might waste more money on production for a new version with camera and improved features to live your desktop. but doesn’t have the features I want. However, I would stick with the iphone 3Gs or ipod touch plus the ipad is a bit heavy.
Silver and CZ grow up. But yeah, if one already has the newest iphone 32g then it takes care of your phone needs and most of your mobile entertainment. Any more than 32gigs of movies and music then you must be going on a long ass road trip. So the ipad in my opinion is hype, skip it.

Hell no If you have a laptop or iphone why the hell woudl you buy it? yeah it looks kind of cool looking but no flash player? I get irritated when ever i cant go to certain sites with my iphone or cant load videos for my facebook because no flashplayer for apple. I love my mac for music purposes and video programs but other than that im good. Just waste of money.
There sure are a lot of haters out there. I will get an IPAD, in time. If u don’t like it don’t bad mouth the product. Just say u don’t like it. U haven’t even touch da Ipad yet u seem to think u know all about it. U think people who wait in line and want to buy the product are stupid? I think ur stupid 4 not giving it a chance.
anyone that calls someone stupid becuase of a topic that asked a question is ignorant. Some like it some dont its not hating its some peoples idea of saving money so maybe you want to keep ya mouth closed cause even if i do try it i have enough apple products i dont need an extra one that does the same thing my iphone..laptop and mac does to each his own. You dont have to touch an ipad its called research.
Well here’s the thing. I wasn’t calling anyone stupid. There’s really no point in this thing.
1. You still need a laptop. You might as well have a laptop lol.
2. Do you know how awkward it’s going to be trying to write email, looking at movies on something that’s too big to be hand held like an ipod and something that doesn’t sit up/adjust/stay stationary like a laptop screen.
3. Portability wise, you might as well have a laptop.
4. You are not going to save any money with apples. That’s kind of their whole shtick. There’s plenty of laptops/notebooks for way less that will do more than that. Even competition in the same arena will do more than that. Take a look at the hp slate.
5. Apple is good at making things pertty. Also making laptops for different designers (engineering, architecture etc.). Oh and making items & accessories that are only compatible with basically the things they give the say so on. But should already be on/with the device.

Nice choice in computers. Especially since the ipad is suffering from lack of wifi signal and overheating issues now. Take a look at MWAVE.COM and newegg.com if you get the chance.
