When you’re named DonCarlos Price at birth (seriously, its his government name) greatness must be in your horizon. But he’s better known to the hip-hop world as STS (Sugar Tongue Slim), a talented MC from Atlanta with cosigns from some of the biggest names in the industry.

STS moved from Atlanta to Philadelphia to develop his career, where he first mastered the underground, spoken-word scene and graduated to hip-hop ciphers. His talent landed him with co-writing credits on hits like Ciara’s 2005 pop treat, “Oh.”

In 2009 STS gained a fan in Black Thought of the Roots, joining his supergroup the Money Making Jam Boys, which includes Black Thought, Dice, Raw, Truck North and Porn.

This week STS released his mixtape Demand More 2, presented by Tapemasters Inc. and sponsored by DrJays.com brand SneakTip. For this production, STS enlisted a diverse posse of producers including Don Cannon (Jeezy, 50 Cent), Sean C & Lv (Jay-Z, Clipse, Kid Cudi) and Emile (Raekwon, Kid Cudi, Snoop Dogg).
