In two days, prepare to have your ears be rewound to back to 2000. Deported rapper Shyne is preparing to drop his first single, “Messiah.” The title is an eyebrow raiser to say the least. More about the Shyne Po’s new tune after the jump.

This will be the first single since being released from Clinton Correctional Facility in October after doing a nine year bid. Since then the rapper had been deported to Belize, signed a seven-figure deal with Island/Def Jam, and now looks to be working on his third album.

According to HipHopDX, Shyne’s working with producer Scott Storch and looks to release his album some time this year. “Messiah”, however, is produced by Chicago producer LPeezy. Anticipation is high for this project but he’s currently banned from entering the United States and was denied access to the United Kingdom because of his criminal record.
