Will Ice-T Be The First To Do A Twitter Drive-By?

Ice-T is one of the OG’s in the game and over the past few years since the Digital Age has really kicked in he’s really been receiving what we call an “epic fail”. Did the rapper-turned-actor just commit another Internet infraction? Find out after the jump.

We’ve truly hit a sensitive period in the time of our lives. Folks can really no longer express themselves without “followers” and “friends” all at the ready to call you a hater. Grammy Award-winning Rock singer, Aimee Mann, got dissed by Ice-T after she wrote on Twitter, “There is no reason anyone should have cast Ice-T in a television show.”

Ice-T has an ongoing role on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit as Detective Odaifin “Fin” Tutuola — but in a throwback to his beef with Soulja Boy the rapper vented his frustrations through his network of followers. Tweeting as @FinalLevel he responded to the singer by writing, “Oh sh**! FLTG this may be time for a DRIVE BY.. Someone tell who is this b****? Should I handle this or is it Drive by time??” He later updated with a status saying, “Hey [Aimee Mann] stop worry bout my acting b****, and worry about your WACK ass music. In the mean time.. Eat a hot bowl of D****! Ice T.”

All must be well because she apologized, right? iSarcasm. According to HipHopDX, the singer apologized to Ice-T who admitted that she was “just having fun on Twitter.” Whether it was said in jest or met to provoke thought, bullying someone into apologizing doesn’t bode heavily for either party involved. With Ms. Mann it shows that she’s not willing to hold her ground in a scenario and for Ice-T it’s another fail as the guy is starting to show signs of road rage.

The rapper-slash-actor is rumored to be a part of the upcoming Santorini Blue — a love story where Ice-T would be playing a doctor. He’s also featured in Sounds Like a Revolution, a 2010 documentary about artist activists. Meanwhile, Aimee Mann 2008 release, @#%&*! Smilers continues to carry the tradition of her staying power.

@#%&! Smilers is right! Got any thoughts about this irrational behavior? Share your thoughts in the comments section!
