War In Real Life: Images From Iraq

When war is portrayed in Oscar-winning movies like this year’s The Hurt Locker the scenes are emotional, but they’re still part of a Hollywood production. We received these Iraq War photos capturing the use of IEDs (Improvised Explosive Devices) from one of our close friends stationed overseas. According to Wikipedia, IEDs have been used extensively against coalition forces in the 2003–present Iraq War and by the end of 2007, they were responsible for at least 40 percent of coalition deaths.

The Iraq War has been a reality for the past seven years and these images speak for themselves.
