Keri Hilson Replaces Jennifer Hudson As Avon Spokesperson
Keri Hilson has joined New York-based direct-sales company Avon as its newest celebrity ambassador.
Replacing Jennifer Hudson (who signed on in 2007), Hilson will be the frontperson for the 20-year-old Imari line, consisting of fragrance, powder, anti-perspirant, lotion and bath/shower gel.
“I’m really careful. I don’t want to be affiliated with too many brands,” Hilson tells Women’s Wear Daily of her first brand endorsement deal. “It’s got to make sense, and it makes sense [with Avon.] I love fragrance. I love beauty. I love to teach women that they should feel confident and feel good about themselves for themselves.”
Hilson, 27, is currently back in the studio with Polow da Don and Timbaland finishing up her second album, due out later this year.
