Wiz Khalifa’s “Kush and Orange Juice” (Mixtape)
Wiz Khalifa has had an incredible last 12 months. His critically acclaimed Flight School has been one of the few rivaling Drake‘s So Far Gone for mixtape of ’09 in the minds of bloggers and music enthusiasts alike. He also dropped the How Fly collaboration tape with Curren$y, as well as Burn After Rolling (B.A.R.), a mix of leaked tracks and loosies to appease his fans.
After parting ways with Warner Bros., Wiz released his second album, Deal or No Deal, independently. His hard work and dedication to his craft clearly didn’t go unnoticed, as Wiz was eventually selected to join XXL‘s newest freshman class of rappers on the cover of the magazine’s February issue.
If anybody’s got a cult following, it’s Wiz. His kush and orange juice bread and butter as of recent has been using and abusing social network sites like YouTube and Twitter (@RealWizKhalifa to follow!) to spread the good word about his music and create an extended clique of his Taylor Gang imprint. His fans are so die-hard that they recently started the trending topic #KushAndOrangeJuice, almost demanding the mixtape Wiz has been hinting about dropping since February. It’s been going strong since April 12.
Well, we’ve got great news for you guys today. Kush and Orange Juice is here and ready for download. Wiz’ latest tape features Killa Kyleon, Big Krit, Nesby Phips, and of course his How Fly cohort Curren$y. The production is impeccable as well. Click the artwork (or the link below if the David Ruffin-inspired album art spooks you out) to grab this fascinating piece of work.

Over the past two months, Wiz has embarked on the “Deal Or No Deal” tour, which has accounted for 37 sold out shows across the country. He will appear at Bamboozle in New Jersey on May 2 before he embarks on the Left Coast leg of the “Deal Or No Deal” tour. The fourth leg coming in June and July will take him back to the East and up north to Canada for more stops, so don’t worry, because you still have a chance to see Wizzle Man in concert.
