Nike Air Max 90 Avatar “Na’vi”

James Cameron did it again. Avatar is the biggest box office hit ever, the only film to out-gross Titanic, James Cameron’s other claim to fame. Not too shabby. It’s safe to say  you know you’ve done something huge if Nike creates a sneaker as a tribute to your contribution to society. That’s exactly what the sneaker Goliath did.

The Nike Air Max 90 Avatar “Na’vi” are impressive, even as a collector’s item churned out to capitalize off the success of a film. If you’ve seen the movie, then the shoes should amaze you—the purple, green, teal crocodile-esque scales all over the sneaker resemble the Na’vi’s skin, while the yellow laces represent the color of their eyes.

Where can you get these bad boys? To be frank, we couldn’t tell you at the moment. They appear just to be samples, or shoes that Nike creates more to flex their muscles in the shoe world, above anything else. But admit it’s the coolest sneaker you’ve laid eyes on for a minute.
