This weekend I got a chance to check out the remake of one of my favorite horror movie franchises, Nightmare on Elm Street. After I walked out the theater (at the end of the movie, not mad) I got to thinking, what are my top 5 horror movies?
Halloween
The king of all slasher films and the first to start the whole slasher phenomena. The eerie music is what sticks in your head, plus the white mask of course. Successfully scaring audiences and babysitters since the 1970s.

Love all these movies. Did you like the new Nightmare on Elm Street remake or not? Trying to figure out if I should wait until it comes out on DVD/Bluerey/digital or not
I saw Friday the 13th with my sisters. While we waited for our Dad to pick us up, a jeep wrangler like the one Jason’s mom was driving rolled by. Had me looking over my shoulders for about a week….of the latest horror flicks, love SAW – especially # 1 & # 2. Blood & gore with clever traps and a thoughtful plot…and not too preposterous….
