Bobby Brown thought it was a good idea to propose to his girlfriend, manager Alicia Etheridge, on stage during the annual Funk Fest in Jacksonville, Fla. on Friday. I’m thinking this might have upstaged the festival’s SWV performance. Story goes, Etheridge and Cassius, the couple’s 11-month-old son, joined Brown on stage where he got down on one knee and popped the question. No disrespect to Bobby, but this chick is hot. How did you pull this one off?

According to one concertgoer who witnessed the proposal: “Hopefully he’ll get it right this time.”

    I’m happy for him. Everyone deserves happiness and Bobby is no exception. I just wonder if he’ll invite Whitney to the wedding… i’m pretty sure she’ll want to sing at the reception… she needs a new gig
