Cop Or Drop: Gourmet “The 28″

Ever since the unfortunate situation with cease and desists on Gourmet‘s first series of sneakers (interestingly and oddly enough called “Cease” and “Desisto”), their brand’s awareness has skyrocketed exponentially. It doesn’t hurt to have some of the best casual shoes that combine the comfort of a sneaker with the clean and polished look that can take you to work or the club.

“The 28″ is the brand’s latest offering, coming soon to select retailers. The shoe includes a moccasin upper constructed in tan suede with a mesh collar which contrasts nicely with the white midsole. Similar to a chukka, but a little smoother and less clunky. Looks like the world of construction boots have a new kid on the block, and he may just become “most popular” if he’s lucky. We know you see that nice air bubble, too.

Look out for these in the near future, and if you’re late on Gourmet (no worries!) check out some of their footwear that we’ve featured in the past.
