There’s no truer expression of an artist’s talent than a live performance. The most memorable shows are transcendental, a privileged place in time and space where artist and audience commune on an esoteric level. It is that nexus, those perfect musical moments that inspired the debut our latest series/venue/show, Live @ Suite 19.

As you’ll see in this video, Aaron Fresh needs no introduction. Discovered while rehearsing for a high school talent show and soon signed to Nick Cannon’s NCredible Entertainment, the 17-year-old walked into our office confident as only a teen can be—dancing, singing and charming the pants off all the ladies. Aaron’s sound reveals a beautiful merging of various musical styles, culled from his childhood spent in Trinidad and Tobago and the U.S. We’re pretty sure his Def Jam debut is going to make all of us want to be “Dirty Girls.”

About “Live @ Suite 19″:
Live @ Suite 19 is a movement dedicated to performances by all musical artists. We’re keeping it analog here at Suite 19. The performances you’ll see are stripped of the expected accoutrement—no flash, no glam, no mic, no stage—thus illuminating the two most important elements: the artist and the music. These shows are happening in the middle of our New York City office during the course of a regular workday. Our day keeps evolving: You’ll see us having meetings, taking phone calls and devouring lunch. Through this simplification, we hope you’re able to see what we see: the true essence, heart and human energy encapsulating the artist and their work.
