This past Sunday afternoon, I was asked to style Dijon Talton, who plays Matt Rutherford on the hit Fox TV show Glee.

With less than 24 hours to pull a dope head-to-toe look together for Dijon to wear at the huge FOX Upfront party, I hit up our trusty friends at GoldSpun/GodSpeed, as well as Scotch & Soda.

Our Videographer, Jenny Wu, came along to help, joining me on the trek to the Upper West Side with all of Dijon’s gear.  We walked into a hotel suite where other Glee cast members were also getting their wardrobe/hair/makeup done.

After having Dijon try on a few options, we put together a young, casual-yet-polished look with a black blazer by Scotch & Soda, a gray short-sleeve button down, raw skinny jeans by GoldSpun, and the Up-Speed High boots by GodSpeed.

Mark Salling stayed true to his character’s charming “bad boy” steez, with distressed jeans, and a white untucked button down shirt, layered with a gray vest.

Jenny Wu had to school Kevin McHale on how to tie his necktie! Nice job.

The cast just launched a four-city tour on May 15th in Arizona, while new episodes hit FOX simultaneously.  Glee has reportedly drawn huge names like Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Justin Bieber, who are all expressing interest in playing roles during the fall season.

We would like to say congratulations to Dijon, who will have his first speaking roles in upcoming episodes!
