Tyra Banks and Vogue‘s Editor-At-Large Andre Leon Talley have joined forces to pay tribute to the late Alexander McQueen in a very royal way. Appearing as king and queen, the duo were also joined by child model Gianni, who posed as a princess. Tyra was sure to use Victorian-style clothes, very reminiscent of McQueen’s final collection. About doing the shoot, here is what she had to say:

“When I heard of Alexander (Lee as he was called by his friends) McQueen’s passing back in February, I was devastated. Not only was he one of my favorite designers, he was someone that I had been lucky enough to meet and was a wonderful human being. I knew that I had to pay him tribute in a special way. The last cycle of Top Model was dedicated to him and I decided that I also wanted to do a photo shoot decked out in [head to toe] McQueen. McQueen was considered royalty in the fashion community. McQueen had a flare for the dramatic and a love for fantasy. I would like to think that he would have loved these photos.”
