Changing Faces: Janet Jackson’s Hair History

Submitted by on June 2, 2010 – 5:37 pm4 Comments

Janet Jackson recently debuted a new, short look that had the internet going crazy with praise (us included). This isn’t the first time Janet has given us a new look though—she went from jumbo braids (Poetic Justice in 1993) to a short, curly weave (the janet. album in the same year) to long layered hair (2001) and has even experimented with various colors. Which look was the best for Ms. Jackson? Let’s take a look at her hair history:

Big curls, loose curls, tight curls. Bangs and bobs. Black, light brown, auburn, multi-color—you name it, she tried it. We must say though that the new Janet is by far the best—it’s age appropriate, refreshing and highlights her beautiful face.
