Reportedly, the relationship between Brandy and Flo Rida is officially over. According to the singer:
“I don’t have a rapper boyfriend named Flo Rida. I am very much about myself. I have to focus on what I need to do.” (Contact Music)
Talk of a romantic connection between the duo was first sparked when the pair were spotted together in Miami at Brandy’s 31st birthday party in February. In a blog post on Vibe.com in early April, the singer described Flo Rida as somebody in her life and admitted she’s “definitely interested,” but confessed her fear of giving away her heart. Brandy’s past beaus include producer Robert Smith, who fathered her now 7-year-old daughter Sy’rai, and NBA baller Quentin Richardson. Unlike those relationships, her relationship with horrid-looking lacefront wigs continues.
