This past weekend, Kiki and I attended the inaugural “Hotel Thrillist” in Miami Beach at the Fontainebleau hotel. The weekend felt like a summer camp for journalists, bloggers, and tastemakers with tons of food and entertainment.

Rapper J.Cole was the special guest on Friday night. He greeted attendees at a cocktail hour and dinner, which featured mouth-watering food from Fontainebleau restaurants Scarpetta, Hakkasan, Gotham Steak, and Solo.

After dinner, we attended the after party at Liv nightclub where DJ Soul was spinning, and J.Cole performed:

The next morning started right, thanks to Scarpetta restaurant:

On Saturday morning, the “Thrillist Bazaar” took place by the Fontainebleau pool, featuring classes by Scratch DJ Academy, Capoeira dance presented by the Miami Capoeira Project Inc., and the Thrillist photo booth cabana, presented by Sony Cyber-shot.

There were also a few clothing and accessory brands showing their goods at the Bazaar, such as the House Of Jackie Brown (whose bathing suits will be available soon on our sister site, DJPremium.com).

Later that night, guests attended the “Torched Miami Night” at Red Steakhouse, presented by Bacardi Torched Cherry. Kiki and I wore fabulous dresses by designer Sammy B.:

Sunday, most guests used the day for some rest and relaxation. We spent the day at the beach, in the streets of South Beach, and once again – the Fontainebleau pool!

We ran into Brooke Hogan in South Beach. She mentioned her new album is half way completed, and currently does not contain any features.
