In honor of Father’s Day this Sunday, we’re paying tribute to some of our favorite celebrity dads.

Answering the question “How did becoming a father change you?” check out exclusive quotes from Juelz Santana, DJ Drama, DJ Whoo Kid, Michael Rapaport, Sha Money XL, Pooch Hall, Paul Wall and Treach (Naughty By Nature) and pics of them with their beautiful children.

“Becoming a father changed me in so many ways. Basically I grew up. Being a father changed my priorities, my perspective on everything and really stopped me from being as reckless as I once was.”
Juelz Santana

“It changed my everything. My reason for being. My love, my focus, my grind, my sacrifice.”
DJ Drama

“It eliminated my selfishness and created this phenomenon called sacrifice! I love my boys!”
DJ Whoo Kid

“Being a father has changed my like in every cliché way possible.
Everything I do since I’ve had kids, I now do with a different perspective and a different purpose.”
Michael Rapaport

“Being a father made me want to be a man early, to get a career and be able to fully provide for my kids. It made me respect life more.”
Sha Money XL
Senior VP of A&R, Def Jam

“I can honestly say that until I had my first daughter, I didn’t fully understand what love is. Becoming a father changed me in many ways – it helped me become a better person, less selfish, and more in tune with others’ feelings.”
Pooch Hall

“Having my first child drastically changed my life. Shortly before that time, I was a solo artist and I was on the verge of giving up because it seemed like I just wasn’t going to be able to accomplish my dreams of becoming a signed artist. I was becoming very discouraged to say the least. After having my son, Kavion, he became the motivation and inspiration I needed to continue on my path to success. At that point, I stopped living for myself and began to live for him. Since then, I’ve gotten married, auditioned and become a part of Day 26 of Making the Band, and I also started my own record label, Noivak Music. Now, with my first daughter on the way within the next month or so, I just have more motivation to keep working hard at doing what I love so much.  With my children as my inspiration I know that the sky is the limit for me!”
Willie Taylor

“Being a father gave my life meaning. It gave me a purpose in life. It also gave me so much motivation when it comes to my career. I want to be so much better than I ever imagined I could be. I have a 4yr old son and 2yr old daughter that I strive to impress and encourage them to be great. Being a father has allowed me to experience the greatest happiness in my lifetime.”
Paul Wall

“Fatherhood has changed me in many ways, all for the better. My children made me put my energy into pleasing them and not everyone else. They keep me off the streets and most times out the club scene. They make me put my priorities in order. They made me less of a wild child and help me to think before I act, knowing that my mini-me’s need me on the outside, not in jail for doing something with no regard for consequences. It gives me a glow, knowing that I put them first (after God) and am taking care of them making sure they are happy, healthy and well fed!”
Treach (Naughty By Nature)

All true! These words are how every good parent feels. If you are a parent, you know it already. If you’re not – think that this is how your parents feel about YOU!

IT IS SUCH A BLESSING TO SEE THAT A LOT OF MEN ARE STANDING UP AND TAKING CARE OF THEIR KIDS. COMING FROM A REAL WOMAN, THAT IS ALL A REAL WOMAN WANTS. I REALLY DO APPLAUD YOU GUYS OUT THERE. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. I HAVE A GREAT MAN IN MY LIFE THAT IS SUCH A BLESSING TO OUR CHILD. HE TAKES CARE OF HER DAILY AND IS ALWAYS THERE NO MATTER WHAT FOR ME AND HER. IF I COULD GIVE THAT MAN THE WORLD I WOULD. HE COMPLETES OUR LIVES.
